Since 1986, the South Launceston Football Club has had a strong history of success.
In 1986, City-South and East Launceston from the Northern Tasmanian Football Association merged to form South Launceston, which competed in the short-lived Tasmanian Football League from 1986 to 1997. See more in Club History.
